The two of us have been dating for the past five years. We met through our mothers, a fact that they aren't shy about bringing up now that they know our relationship has been a success.

We met on a cold January afternoon, and spent hours walking, talking, and risking hypothermia. Years later, we'd struggle to get the engagement ring on Brittney's finger as both of us shivered in front of that Christmas display.

These days we focus on staying nice and cozy in our little apartment, curled up on the couch together with darling puppy Bailey and counting down the days until we get to stand before all of you and say "I do."
